David warner cleared to play in boxing day test in London today

Drew Donais will be included at tomorrow's opening of Floyd Mayweather's boxing camp in London with his wife Carrie in attendance after completing her doctorate in forensic psychology from Sheffield University.


The 39-year-old Irishman is set to take part in the boxing session which will feature three professional bouts.


The event will take place in April at the Hyatt Regency on Broad Street at around 7.50pm in an exhibition of boxing and the sport of mixed martial arts.


He said his family and fiancée will be at the camp, which he will take part in alongside his children Jack, 21, and Jacky, 16.

Tough competition: Donais will face American Brian Vera, whose opponent will be fellow boxer, Oscar Valdez at 6.30pm

In addition to the four-round matches between Mayweather and Vera the camp also looks set to feature the three biggest boxers in the sport: Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao.

While the other two fights will take place as a fight, a welterweight fight and a lightweight fight, the four boxing bouts will showcase three different styles of boxing.


The boxer's sparring sessions will feature a four-round bout with Floyd Mayweather, and that will be followed by a lightweight bout between boxer Oscar Valdez.


Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao will also be taking part in the camp but their sparring sessions are more in the three rounds.


The boxing sessions will begin at 7am with the first four rounds of Mayweather v Valdez taking place.


Floyd Mayweather is not involved in any of the boxing sessions so it is not clear what the Mayweather camp's training agenda is for the weekend.

Rivalries: Mayweather will be fighting Vera, who is another featherweight who is making his professional MMA debut, on April 11

Donais, known for his fast and violent game, started training in 1997 and has been training in Australia at the same time for the last 12 years.


Last season, Donais got through three rounds in the boxing with three points, the last coming by striking Valdez twice with his left hook.

Cameron, who has been loaned to Everton for this season, said it was a privilege to continue his playing career and had enjoyed plenty of success during his time with Blues, having also worked with ex-England boss Roy Hodgson.


He added: "I've worked in Europe with Roy when he was at West Brom, so if you want to win at West Brom, you're going to need to play well against the Premier League, so it's been really good for me."
